Sweet temptations you'll want to try
One of the sweets par excellence are the biscuits, specifically Birba biscuits, which have been produced in Camprodon since the end of the 19th century. The display windows of the Valley's shops always have biscuits and other sweet treats the traditional taste of which will transport you back to your childhood when you taste them.
Stop and sit down in a cafe, watching the people go by and shopping in the small shops, have a coffee, juice or hot chocolate and accompany it with something sweet, hear the characteristic birds of the area singing and the murmur of the street; this is one of the pleasures of taking a break in the town centres of this valley.
Cold meats, veal, foal meat, Birba biscuits and trumfes potatoes are some of the products you can try if you come to the Valley. They are all prepared with respect for the harvest times, quality and nutritional properties, which makes these products an authentic treasure of the Girona Pyrenees.
