Villages and towns
The Camprodon Valley comprises 6 municipalities: Sant Pau de Segúries, Camprodon, Llanars, Vilallonga de Ter, Setcases and Molló. With the village of Camprodon as the central point of the Valley, they make up an active region with special charm.
In the Alta Garrotxa region we find Beget, a small rural and Romanesque-style village considered to be one of the prettiest in Catalonia. And Rocabruna, located 972 metres away and known for its ruins and the range of altitudes and look-out points it offers.
The colony of Estabanell, the first one to be established next to the river Ter, was a textile colony comprising a church, a school and houses for the factory workers. Noteworthy are a small bell tower and a bridge that leads to Camprodon's campsite. Next we find the town of Cavallera, where the Taga peak, can be found, and from where you can see the fortress of the tower of Cavallera and 360º views.
Salarsa is located next to the creek of Bolòs, a neighbourhood of country houses built around the edge of the meadow. Freixenet was an independent municipality which was incorporated into the municipality of Camprodon in 1965 together with Creixenturri.
